Finance Business Analyst for Central Europe

Finance Business Analyst for Central Europe is mainly responsible for

  • Creating a link between the end-users (Finance mainly, but also Operations, Actuary, Sales ...) and the Shared Service team
  • Providing support to the users with all applications used within the finance department (reporting tool, accounting system, subsystems feeding the accounting tool)
  • Standardizing the finance processes among CE countries by taking into account process improvement opportunities to decrease service period and cost and to increase service quality

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Analyse and formalise finance processes within Accounting department
  • Collect and formalise the business requirements (new tools, new requests linked to new business, standardization)
  • Actively participate in the design phase
  • Participate in the testing phases
  • Support the users during the roll out phase
  • Prepare user guides
  • Create Gap and requirement descriptions for the Finance department
  • Provide detailed process descriptions of financial processes for all CE countries (CZ, SK, AT, HU, BG, RO)
  • Support the implementation of the new version of accounting system and full roll-out of all functionalities

 

 Our Requirements & Your Profile

  • Master's Degree preferably in Finance, Controlling or Accounting
  • Relevant work experience in a similar financial position
  • Single point of contact for IT department, with a good knowledge of finance processes
  • Understand the functionalities of the finance systems
  • Team player
  • Systematic, communicative and reliable personality
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Sense for punctuality
  • Meeting agreed deadlines, good skills in time-management
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel
  • Insurance knowledge is an advantage
  • Fluent in English
