Demand Manager for European Region

Demand Manager position represents the link between Continental Europe (CE) entities as internal customers, CE Zone management, Cardif Corporate IT and the IT SSC based in Prague. This position implies providing coordination and management of demands regarding the upgrade of the shared applications managed by the SSC: the core system ( scope: insurance contract & premium management, claims management, reporting tool, accounting system)and the full digital front end solution aiming at improving the Clients’ experience.


Main Responsibilities

 

  • Ownership of demand process: demand collection, validation, prioritization, arbitrage (in line with the governance bodies) and roadmap preparation.
  • Participation and validation of the high level design of significant new functionality (alignment processes – architecture)
  • Capacity and risk management (key link between CE management and IT SSC for development capacity planning, validation and arbitrage).
  • Responsible fo the implementation of the Continental Europe development roadmap in the relase plan.
  • Organize and lead of the Community meetings (CE SSC, function and countries sharing days) + Key contact for CE Process committee and CE project planning.
  • Responsibility for CE Change board organization: planning, evidence, roadmap proposal.
  • Active participation in requirements definition (i-e taking into account business vs technical / IT constraints, capacity and requirements sharing).
  • To actively participate in the system/process alignment in CE and system simplification.
  • Budget / planning elaboration and follow up.
  • Risk management; Update procedures when necessary.
  • Preparation of recurring reports (internal reports, reports for Head Office and for served countries) and hoc reports.


Requirements

  • Master Degree in IT, insurance or finance.
  • Proven prior experience in change management, IT project management (prior experience in User Experience projects, digital solutions, online services would be an advantage).
  • IT Skills - understanding of basic architecture features, good command of Web tools (SQL queries is an advantage).
  • Fluent in English language (Czech and other European language is an advantage).
  • Open mind-set and proven ability to influence and conduct change management.
  • Analytical capacities combined with good understanding of business issues (finance, processes, etc.).
  • Advanced prioritizing, organisation and planning skills to deliver under a given time constraint.
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment and willingness to trvel occasionally.

 

Requirements

  • Master Degree
  • Fluent in English language (other language from CEE region is an advantage)
  • IT Skills - understanding of basic architecture features, good command of Web tools (SQL queries is an advantage)
  • Advanced communication skills, including negotiation skills with strong client focus
  • Open mind-set and proven ability to influence and conduct change management
  • Analytical capacities combined with good understanding of business issues (finance, processes, etc.)
  • Advanced prioritizing, organisation and planning skills to deliver under a given time constraint
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
