Demand Manager for CEE Region

Within the Zone, ETO (Efficiency Techonology and Operations) activities are covering IT, Operations and Transformation. Shared Service Center (SSC), in charge of managing all mutualized IT activities (Business applications, production monitoring, project management) of served countries, is growing rapidly. In this context we are looking for a Demand Manager for CEE. The SSC is located in Prague. Because of SSC's geographical coverage and as Head Office is located in France, near Paris, it is important that the candidate is able to work in an international context, speaks English on a daily basis and is also ready to travel to meet other Cardif entities in the region.


Scope and Mission

Demand  Manager position represents the link between CEE country entities, CEE region management, IT SSC and other staholders. This position implies providing coordination and management of countries and function demands regarding the core systems/strategic applications.

 

We are looking for Demand Manager with strong insurance business knowledge and process skills with responsibility for strategic applications (requirement review, business impact assessment and priority) with willingness to collaborate inside and outside the internal and external IT teams within multi-cultural teams in Europe. Our new colleague will be the single point of contact in CEE for requests to implement new features in strategic applications.

 

Responsibilities

  • Ownership of CEE demand process: demand collection, validation, prioritization and arbitrage. Participation and validation of the high level design of significant new functionality (alignment processes - architecture)
  • Capacity and risk management (key link between CEE management and SSC for development capacity planning, validation, roadmap preparation and arbitrage)
  • Owner of CEE development roadmap (roadmap is up to date and validated by CEE management)
  • Organizing and leadership of Community meetings in cooperation with SSC Demand Management for Continental Europe region (SSC, function and countries sharing days)
  • Responsible for managing knowledge transfer of the Community of users in CEE
  • Active participation in requirements definition (ie taking into account business vs technical / IT constraints, capacity and requirements sharing)
  • Active participation in the system/process alignment in CEE and system simplification
  • Budget / planning elaboration and follow up
  • Risk management
  • Procedures update when necessary
  • Preparation of recurring reports (internal reports, reports for Head Office and for served countries) and hoc reports

 

Requirements

  • University background in IT, insurance or finance
  • Proven prior experience in change management, IT project management etc.
  • IT Skills and knowledge- various
  • Fluent in English language (Czech and other European language is an advantage)
  • Open mind-set and proven ability to influence and conduct change management
  • Analytical capacities combined with good understanding of business issues (finance, processes, etc.)
  • Advanced prioritizing, organization and planning skills to deliver under a given time constraint
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
